It was a pleasure to be invited by the Civic Museums of Pavia and Sponge ArteContemporanea to realize another work with the Bianconirico guys.

Thus was born, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Italian unification, "Brother, Where Art Thou", an installation inserted "mimetically" within the halls of the Museum of the Risorgimento.

In the section dedicated to Cairoli family, next to the objects and photographs that tell the heroic deeds of the five patriots, Bianconirico added an additional character, a fictitious sixth brother, whose history is given by fake relics, and whose presence is evoked by photos and documents crafted for the occasion.

I worked from the concept till the set up of this exhibition and my main duty was to make and manipulate all the fake historical photos.

"He's the brother who has failed, which is not able to put into practice the ideals of unity, always arriving too early or too late, becoming an Italian symbol of anti-hero."
